2021 Cheer Registration

Welcome to the 2021 Cheer Registration Form!

The objective of the Lake County Stallions is to provide an organized football and cheer program for grade school children in the Village of Mundelein, Fremont Township area, Wauconda, Vernon Hills, Grayslake, Hawthorn Woods, and surrounding towns.

This registration session will allow you to sign consents, complete contact information and submit payment.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard or Discover account information available.

What are the costs?

If you are registering more than one child for football and cheer season, you will receive a discount on the second (and third and forth, if applicable) child's registration fee (see chart above). In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time AND answer the questions on the Registration Information page carefully and accurately. Failure to do so may result in a forfeiture of your family's discounted rates.

Cheer and Football registration will be separate this year.  If you have children registering for both Cheer and Football we will provide promo codes once the football registration is available.

PRIORITY CHEERLEADING REGISTRATION is available the first 2 weeks of registration for returning cheerleaders who registered for the 2020 season. Cheerleaders must be in good standing and fulfilled their required volunteer time from the 2019 season.

New cheerleaders can still sign up now, but will be put on a reserve list for the first two weeks of registration, in order of completed registration. If the team is not full, then you will be guaranteed a spot. We expect the cheer teams to fill up to maximum capacity again this year.

We are requiring parents to purchase uniforms this year. You will have the opportunity to pre-season fundraise or opt out for $140. The uniforms will be the property of the cheerleader and her family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What do the registration fees include?
A: Your registration fees include practice facility space, choreography, music, competition bow, 3 IRCA competitions, State and $25 of fun money.

Q: Why are fees more expensive this year than in past years?
A: The registration fees are increased due to the IRCA increases in Competition and State fees. On the upside, once spectators are allowed at competitions again, there will be no entry fees from the IRCA.

Q:  Besides the cheer uniform, what else are we required to purchase?
A:  You will be required to purchase competition shoes, practice shoes, face mask and solid black leggings.

Q: Is there a payment plan?
A: Yes, there is a payment plan option available for the registration fee ONLY. The uniform must be paid in full at time of registration or you can opt to fundraise. If you choose to opt out of volunteering and/or fundraising, you must pay the opt out fee in full at time of registration.

Q: Will stunting be allowed in 2021?
A: As of today, yes stunting will be allowed. However, we will continue to follow IRCA’s lead on this. They will determine if stunting is safe or not safe based on CDC and state restrictions.

Q: Will face masks be worn at practices and competitions?
A: At this time, yes masks will be worn at all times. Per IRCA, face masks will be required for all teams that are stunting with the exception of tumblers. However, we will continue to follow their ruling on this and with all things COVID related, restrictions and guidelines may change throughout the season.

Q: Will team sizes be affected by COVID protocol?
A: Yes, team sizes will be capped due to the restriction guidelines from the practice facilities.

Q: Is there a multi-child discount if you have a sibling in Football?
A: Yes. You can receive a discount code by emailing our treasurer at:

Q:  Where and when are practices?
A:  Cheer practice begins the week of July 12th. Summer practices will be held outdoors at a location TBD. Indoor practices will begin the end of August and held at Fremont Intermediate School.

Q:  When does "sideline cheer" for football games begin?
A:  Typically around the third weekend in August, but currently we are unaware if the TCYFL will allow us to cheer on the sidelines during the current COVID situation.

Q:  What is the age range for cheer?
A:  Enrolled in K - 8th Grade during the 2021-2022 school year

Q:  Do I need to volunteer?
