2017 Cheer and Football

Welcome to the 2017 Lake County Stallions Football Registration!

The objective of the Lake County Stallions is to provide an organized football and cheer program for grade school children in the Village of Mundelein, Fremont Township area, Wauconda, Vernon Hills, Grayslake, Hawthorn Woods, and surrounding towns.

This registration session will allow you to sign consents, complete contact information and submit payment.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard or Discover account information available.

What are the costs?

FAMILY DISCOUNT:
If you are registering more than one child for football and cheer season, you will receive a discount on the second (and third, if applicable) child's registration fee (see chart above). In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time AND answer the questions on the Registration Information page carefully and accurately. Failure to do may result in a forfeiture of your family's discounted rates.

Cheer and Football registration will be separate this year.  If you have children registering for both Cheer and Football we will provide promo codes once the Cheer registration is available. 

CHEER UNIFORMS:
We are requiring parents to purchase uniforms this year. You will have the opportunity to pre-season fundraise or opt out for $115. The uniforms will be the property of the cheerleader and her family.

Frequently Asked Questions (Cheer)

Q:  Besides the cheer uniform, what else are we required to purchase?
A:  You will be required to purchase competition shoes, game shoes, black yoga pants (no zippers, designs, lace on pants; and no leggings allowed) and a cheer jacket.

Q:  "Where are" and "when" are practices?
A:  Cheer practice begins the week of July 17th. Locations and schedules will be determined by your coach

Q:  When does "sideline cheer" for football games begin?
A:  August 26 - August 27


Q:  What is the age range for cheer?
A:  Enrolled in K - 8th Grade this fall

Q:  Do I need to volunteer?
A:  Yes, all parents are required to volunteer at least four hours per child, to a maximum of eight hours per family. Failure to complete required volunteer hours will result in a $50 penalty to be charged via credit card at the completion of the season. Registration for the following season will be prohibited until all previous fees/penalties are paid in full.

Q:  What equipment are football players required to purchase?
A:  Helmet and shoulder pads will be provided. You will be required to purchase football pants w/pads, cleats, socks, mouth guard, and athletic supporter

Q:  When are the player evaluations?
A:  Evaluations begin Monday, July 17th, at Behm Fields.

Q:  "Where are" and "when" are practices?
A:  Locations and schedules will be determined by your coach

Q:  When is the opening weekend?
A:  August 26 - August 27

Q:  What is the age range for tackle football?
A:  5 - 14 years old (as of September 1)

Q:  Do I need to volunteer?
