Lake County Stallions

The objective of the Lake County Stallions is to provide an organized football program for grade school children in the Village of Mundelein, Fremont Township area, Wauconda, Vernon Hills, Grayslake, Hawthorn Woods, and surrounding towns.

This registration session will allow you to sign consents, complete contact information and submit payment.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard or Discover account information available.

Registration Fee: $400

Includes:

• Jersey and socks
• Shoulder pads and helmet to be used during the season
• 9 games officiated by 3 IHSA & TCYFL certified refs.
• Practice facilities

**Cheer and Football registration are now separate.  If you have children registering for both Cheer and Football, please contact stallions1000@gmail.com for promo codes for the multi-child discount.

PLAYER NUMBER REQUESTS: Each athlete will provide their top three game jersey number choices. Number priority will be given to early registrants.

• Referred player(s) must be a new player that has never played with the Lake County Stallions in any prior year.

If you are registering a child for football who is between the age of 5 and 8 years old on September 1st, you are eligible for a special registration fee of $200.  Your fee at check-out will reflect the reduced fee.  Please note that no additional discounts will be available for Bantam Football registrants.

Q:  What equipment are football players required to purchase?
A:  Jersey, helmet, shoulder pads, and socks will be provided. You will be required to purchase football pants w/pads, cleats, mouth guard, chin strap, and athletic supporter.
 

Q:  Will there be a signing day?
A:  Yes. We are tentatively planning our Stallions Signing Day for Saturday, April 6th, at Mundelein High School. Players will be able to choose their jersey # and get fitted for equipment. 

Q:  When are the player evaluations?
A:  Evaluations begin Monday, July 15th, at Behm Fields.

Q:  "Where are" and "when" are practices?
A:  Locations and schedules will be determined by your coach.

Q:  When is the opening weekend?
A:  Tentatively August 31st and September 1st

Q:  What is the age range for tackle football?
A:  5 - 14 years old (as of September 1)

Q:  Do I need to volunteer?
A:  Yes, all parents are required to volunteer at least four (4) hours per child, to a maximum of eight (8) hours per family.   A minimum of two (2) hours will be required to be completed at the concession stand.  Failure to complete required volunteer hours will result in a $400 penalty to be charged via credit card at the completion of the season. Registration for the following season will be prohibited until all previous fees/penalties are paid in full.
